Learning braille – for all ages!
Are you interested in learning to read and write Unified English braille to either Grade 1 or Grade 2 level? All lessons are based on the excellentFingerprint Course, by Nigel Berry for those who want to learn by touch, or the Primer course for sighted learners.
Both courses introduce the alphabet then move on to fully contracted braille.
As I am an experienced Braille reader and tutor, I am well placed to provide you with instruction, feedback and encouragement at every stage of your journey.
I am able to provide tuition and support for people of all ages.
Sessions are delivered on either a weekly or fortnightly basis. Each session will normally last for one hour and is delivered via Zoom, Microsoft Teams
and supplemented by email/phone for additional support between lessons if required.
You can learn as part of a class or can opt to learn on a one to one basis. A very reasonable fee of just £5.00 (Excluding course materials) per lesson
is required if you wish to pursue this opportunity.
